System Simulation Workshop
PAC World Americas Conference - Raleigh, NC
Monday, August 31, 2015 - 1PM to 5PM
In this free workshop, you will learn how to use the Distributed Test Manager (DTM), a new system simulation tool from Triangle MicroWorks. We will show you how to setup and configure DTM on your laptop. Then we will show some hands-on examples of how DTM can simulate devices that use standard communication protocols including IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC 60870-5, and Modbus. We will also discuss how DTM can be used for many types of testing.
We will reserve time at the end of the workshop to start implementing custom simulations for attendees. Feel free to bring configuration files that could be used to configure a DTM system simulation. This includes IEC 61850 SCL files, DNP3 profiles, or even data point lists.
Sign up for the workshop here. The workshop will be held at Triangle MicroWorks office in Raleigh. Transportation will be provided from the Raleigh Marriott City Center (across from the Convention Center).
Download a free evaluation of DTM here. You can install DTM before the workshop to get a head start or we can help you get setup during the workshop. Please contact support if you have any questions about the tool.
